The Royal Vauxhall Tavern (RVT) is the home of Bar Wotever for more than six years. It has been an entertainment venue for over 100 years, with the columns inside the RVT reputed to be from the 1840’s Vauxhall Pleasure Garden.
Located a very short well lit walk from the Vauxhall Tube and Train station and the Vauxhall Cross Bus Station. On the Victoria Line tube, Vauxhall Station situated next door to the tube and bus station, has trains to and from Waterloo station/Clapham Junction, and for bus information see here (10 busses, 3 24 hour routes and 3 night busses).
The RVT has flat across and we can accommodate wheelchairs on the lower tables with uninterrupted sight lines to the stage. We endure no strobes and minimise flashing lights at the RVT.
There is no wheelchair access to the stage. There are 4 steps at the front and four into the dressing room. There are toilet cubicles that can be accessed without steps, however there are no wheelchair accessible toilets at the venue, the nearest wheelchair accessible toilet is at the Vauxhall bus station (across the road and through the tunnel)
We do try to ensure that all films are subtitled. We are not able to provide BSL interpreted performances at this point in time.
